All 4 county elementary
schools have participating students
Adult volunteers are from
4 different area churches
Sixteen adults and six
teens volunteer on regular basis
Requests for
supplies/support from teachers at every grade level
Periodic school visits
(meals, special events, classroom visits)
Not all kids are special
needs/low income/without church home
Clothing (new and used) is
distributed at least 4 times a year
School supplies are
available on Wednesdays and at Montezuma
Special needs are met as
funds allow/circumstances arise
Four special events and
two summer activities each year
Goals for ROCK RP:
Weekly contact before
school or during lunch
Keep "connection" already
established intact with these kids
Provide "interested person" for those
kids who don't have one
Provide accountability
link for behavior/grades for kids
Continue to meet
clothing/school supplies needs as much as possible
Encourage involvement in
sports/academic teams as much as possible
Increase availability as
"resource" for RP staff
