Home Ministry
Mecca New Life
began a Nursing Home ministry in early 2009 when a member
of the Board was asked to fill in for a local pastor at a
Parke County nursing home. Soon, that volunteer decided to
pursue licensing through the Wesleyan Church as a Local Lay
Minister, a license which he now holds after completing the
necessary coursework.
This ministry is supported through prayer, the efforts of
our "man on the scene" and periodic gifts and treats for
the nursing home residents. These residents also have
access to books our church family donate and to clothing
through the Clothes Closet.
