Christian Life Training
All are welcome to the 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning sessions we call Christian Leadership Training (CLT). We have separate sessions for all men (whether in junior high school or adult) and for all children and girls/women of all ages. The men's session is called the FORGE; the women's/children's is called the Bible Applied To Life (BATL). These sessions are teaching/training opportunities to help equip the church with tools and methods useful in day-to-day living. A major goal is the building up of the body in order to help carry out the Great Commission, but we also deal with everyday issues from a scriptural standpoint.

The FORGE
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.   Proverbs 27:17
Men "sharpening" men; Pastor Chet leads the men of the church as we discover just how to accomplish that goal. An emphasis is placed on biblical learning (the sword of the Lord), specializing in bringing the verses home in a practical, applicable way. Some of the most insightful comments are made by junior-high age young men...here are the future leaders of the church, "being sharpened" by older, more experienced male Christian mentor.
BATL
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.   Proverbs 22:6
This Sunday morning meeting is led by Assistant Pastor Donna and as mentioned is open to all children regardless of gender and females from junior high age through adult. The focus is on applying what the scriptures say about such topics as speaking the truth in love, enabling, loving one another, etc. The emphasis is on making the Bible relevant to today's youngsters and girls of all ages and equipping those in attendance with the spiritual tools and grounding needed to minister to those around them in an appropriate manner.
